This Wisconsin Dells watercolor print shows Stand Rock, the mushroom-shaped sandstone pillar, with a dog leaping across the gap from the cliff. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the Dells, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Fine ink traces the horizontal sandstone layers and rounded edges, with honey and cream washes and grey-violet shadows in the cracks. The pine forest is painted in deep green. The palette is honey-gold and cream sandstone, dark pine green and pale blue, with rusty pine needles and a golden dog as accents. Stand Rock sits in the center, set apart from the cliff by a narrow gap, with a wooden railing and onlookers on the left and the wooded bluffs of the Upper Dells and the Wisconsin River behind. A sandstone rim with ferns and pine needles fills the foreground in high summer. "WISCONSIN DELLS" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Mid-air leap. A golden dog is caught jumping across the gap onto the pillar.
- Crowd at the rail. Visitors gather along a wooden railing to watch the jump.
- Pine-topped pillar. A small pine grows on top of the broad sandstone cap.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".

- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Honey sandstone and deep green pair well with a cabin-style living room, a boy's bedroom or a family room with wood paneling. It is a fun gift for dog lovers and anyone with childhood memories of a Dells vacation.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Wisconsin Dells? No. It is an artistic watercolor interpretation of Stand Rock and the Upper Dells of the Wisconsin River, so the setting is stylized rather than exact.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "WISCONSIN DELLS," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
