Fruit Wall Art

What's in the collection

Citrus leads. Two lemons patterned like a checkerboard hang against blue and cream stripes, a field of yellow lemons carries the word limoni scattered through it, and a limoncello poster splits blue type with slices of fruit. Oranges appear in a blue net bag under the words las naranjas, drawn in crayon line. Berries take the rest: navy blueberries on pink stripes, red strawberries on blue stripes, and a single giant lemon under a blunt piece of advice about what to do when life gives you them. Market produce and vegetables continue in the farmers market wall art prints.

One house style

Almost everything here is flat color on a striped or plain cream ground, drawn with a soft edge rather than a hard vector line. The palette stays in a narrow band of lemon yellow, tomato red, cobalt and pink, which is why the prints pattern well when hung in twos and threes. There is no shading and no photography anywhere in the group. It is the brightest corner of food and drink wall art and an easy way into kitchen wall art for a room that needs color rather than lettering.

Sizes, paper and framing

Every design is offered on archival matte paper in nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames, and on matte canvas either stretched on a wooden bar or set in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. Printed with pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.

Questions about fruit wall art

Which fruits appear in the fruit wall art prints?

Lemons above all, then oranges, strawberries and blueberries. Tomatoes and chilies sit in the farmers market group instead.

Does fruit wall art only suit kitchens?

No. The striped grounds and flat color work in a bathroom, a hallway or a child's room as easily as a kitchen.

How do I hang fruit wall art as a set?

Two or three make an easy set because the stripes and palette repeat. Pair the blueberry and strawberry prints for the clearest match.

What size fruit wall art works in a small kitchen?

Smaller portrait sizes fit between cabinets and above a counter. The wall art size guide shows each size against real cabinets.

Is fruit wall art available on canvas?

Yes, on matte canvas as well as archival matte paper, stretched or in a solid wood floating frame.

Will fruit wall art fade in a sunny room?

The pigment-based archival inks resist fading for decades indoors. Keep any print out of direct sunlight for the longest life.

Is fruit wall art suitable for a rental?

It is one of the easiest subjects to live with, since the color does the work and nothing is tied to a room scheme.

Does fruit wall art come in landscape format?

These designs are portrait. Landscape prints in the shop are grouped separately by orientation.
