Japanese Botanical Wall Art

What's in the collection

Flowers with a long place in Japanese art make up this group. Cherry blossom, sakura, appears on a coral pink ground beside a large brush-lettered panel, and on pale cream above grey waves with a tiny Fuji at the base. The lotus, a Buddhist emblem of purity, opens in soft pink inside ornamental painted borders and as a single large bloom on deep teal with a short note on its meaning. Red camellias with glossy dark leaves are drawn in the manner of a traditional bird-and-flower print. For flowers outside the Japanese tradition, see botanical wall art.

One house style

The palette stays light: blush pink, cream, sage and a single strong red. Flowers are outlined and flat-filled rather than photographic, so they sit comfortably in a bedroom or a reading corner where brighter art would feel loud. They pair well with the calmer prints in Japandi wall art, and the rest of the range lives in our Japanese wall art.

Sizes, paper and framing

Every design is offered on archival matte paper and on matte canvas, either stretched on a wooden bar or set in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. Size options are listed on each product page, including A-series sizes for European frames where the format allows. Printed with pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
