Asia Travel Wall Art

What's in the collection

Illustrated posters across the continent. Japan is drawn from Fushimi Inari and the Kinkaku-ji golden pavilion to Shibuya Crossing and the Chureito Pagoda below Mount Fuji. China covers the Forbidden City, the Mutianyu Great Wall and the Li River karst, while Southeast Asia brings Angkor Wat, Halong Bay, Wat Arun and the Bali temples. Further west the series reaches Petra, the Taj Mahal, Samarkand, Dubai and Istanbul. Japan wall art gathers that country on its own, and the skylines are drawn together in our city wall art.

One house style

Every sheet is drawn rather than photographed, in the vintage travel poster manner: flat layered colour, clean shape edges and the place name set in condensed capitals. Palettes follow the place, from vermilion and indigo in Japan to jade and gold across Southeast Asia and desert sand in the Gulf, so prints can be hung tonally or deliberately mixed. Two or three make an easy set; six make a feature wall. The whole series sits inside our travel wall art, and the formats are listed in our wall art size guide.

Sizes, paper and framing

Every design is offered on archival matte paper in nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames, and on matte canvas either stretched on a wooden bar or set in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. Printed with pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
