Desert Wall Art

What's in the collection

Desert here means more than sand. Layered sandstone mesas and buttes stacked in red, rust and cream. Cactus country, where a saguaro or ocotillo breaks an otherwise empty plain. White gypsum dunes that read almost as snow. Salt flats and cracked playa running flat to a distant range. The light is the other subject: hard noon shadow, the long orange rake of late afternoon, and the cool violet that settles once the sun has gone but the rock is still warm. The same sandstone is cut open in the canyon wall art, and the cactus bloom is drawn as a stamp in the state flower wall art. The same saguaro and scrub stand behind the riders in our western wall art.

One house style

The same landform is treated very differently from print to print, which is what keeps a desert wall grouping interesting. Flat vector work turns a mesa into clean geometric slabs of colour. Thick, knifed paint gives the rock face physical texture you can read from across the room. Watercolour lets the heat haze do the softening. What they share is a preference for few elements and a lot of sky, so nothing on the wall feels crowded even when several hang together. These sit inside the wider travel wall art range, and the wall art size guide lists what each format measures.

Sizes, paper and framing

Every design is offered on archival matte paper and on matte canvas, either stretched on a wooden bar or set in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. Size options are listed on each product page, including A-series sizes for European frames where the format allows. Printed with pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
