This Sisters, Oregon watercolor print shows the Three Sisters, three snow-capped volcanic peaks rising side by side beyond a row of Western false-front storefronts. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the small Oregon town, not an exact view.
About the artwork
The snowy peaks are left as white paper with cool blue-violet shadows, fine brown-grey ink outlines the false fronts, covered porches and boardwalk, and the ponderosa trunks carry transparent orange-brown washes. Wood brown, ponderosa orange, sage and pine greens and snow white make up the palette, with pink-violet hanging baskets as accents. The view looks south-west from above Cascade Avenue, with the 1880s-style shops and street traffic in the middle ground and tall orange-barked pines on the left. A wooden boardwalk, flower barrels and sage bushes fill the foreground, while the peaks still hold their snow in early summer. An orange drip trails from the lower left corner, with dotted splatter around the edge. "SISTERS" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Three volcanic peaks. All three snowy summits stand together as the clear focal point.
- Ponderosa pine framing. Tall orange-barked trunks frame the left side of the street.
- Boardwalk strollers. A couple walks the wooden boardwalk past planters of blue-violet delphinium.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Earthy browns, pine greens and snowy whites fit a cabin-style living room, a mudroom or an office with warm wood. A great gift for Cascade hikers, cyclists or anyone who loves a mountain-town getaway.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Sisters, Oregon? No. It is an artistic interpretation of downtown Sisters and the Three Sisters peaks, and some details are simplified to keep the focus on the mountains and the Western storefronts.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "SISTERS," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
