This Shreveport watercolor print shows the steel truss Texas Street Bridge crossing the Red River, with the downtown Shreveport skyline on the far bank. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the riverfront, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Crisp ink lines outline the bridge's truss panels and the downtown towers, and the river is a clear reddish-brown wash with vertical reflections. Rusty river browns, steel blue-grey and orange and green autumn trees make up the palette, with a white-and-red riverboat as a bright accent. The view looks west from the Bossier City riverfront boardwalk, whose wooden railing runs diagonally across the foreground past a small shelter. The bridge spans the left half of the middle ground, and a purple-roofed spire and a blue glass tower stand out in the skyline. It is mid autumn, and orange-red drips and splatter soften the edges against the white paper. "SHREVEPORT" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Red River tones. Warm reddish-brown water sets this print apart from the usual blue river scenes.
- Riverboat detail. A white riverboat with a red roof is moored on the right, with a small fishing boat mid-river.
- Boardwalk foreground. Anglers at the railing and a cyclist on the boardwalk give the scene a relaxed, local feel.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Its rust, orange and steel-blue palette suits a den, office or living room with leather, terracotta or navy accents. Give it to someone who grew up along the Red River, or as a housewarming gift for a new home in Shreveport or Bossier City.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Shreveport? No. It is an artistic interpretation of the Texas Street Bridge and downtown Shreveport, seen from the Bossier City side in a watercolor style.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "SHREVEPORT," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
