This Ojai, California watercolor print shows the white stucco arches and red tile roof of the Ojai Arcade along Ojai Avenue, with the slender Post Office bell tower rising above. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of downtown Ojai, not an exact view.
About the artwork
White stucco walls are left as bare paper, fine brown-grey ink outlines the arches, tile roofs and bell tower, and transparent washes layer the oaks and orange trees. Sage greens, stucco white and tile red make up the palette, lifted by magenta bougainvillea, ripe oranges and violet jacaranda. The view looks east along the avenue from above Libbey Park, with the park's wooden pergola and oaks on the left and the arcade on the right. The Topatopa Mountains and their pale bluffs rise behind the town above green early-spring hills. Drips run from the lower left and right corners, and pink-violet splatter frames the paper edge. "OJAI" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Mission Revival arches. The long row of white arches and red tiles gives the print a warm Southern California feel.
- Citrus and bougainvillea. Orange trees heavy with fruit and magenta bougainvillea fill the park foreground.
- Easygoing street scene. Cyclists ride Ojai Avenue, a dog walker crosses the park and shoppers stroll under the arches.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.

Soft sage, white and terracotta suit a sunny living room, a breakfast nook or a yoga or reading corner. A lovely gift for a weekend-getaway memory, a valley retreat or someone who calls Ojai home.
Shipping and care

Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
