A Kelowna travel poster looking down the Okanagan shoreline: a long pale beach curving away below the viewer, turquoise lake water on the right, the city's towers and marina at the head of the bay, and the dry golden hills of the valley rising behind everything.
About the artwork
Warm and cool, split down the middle. The right half is lake — clear turquoise shading to deeper blue with fine ripple detail near the sand — and the left is parkland, drawn as clusters of olive and rust-red trees over pale grass. Between them the beach runs as a bright band of sand with tiny figures on it. Behind the marina the town is compressed into a strip of white and cream buildings, and above that the hills are handled in flat bands of straw, ochre and dusty olive with vineyard rows ruled across them. Title in white capitals, KELOWNA above CANADA. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- Wine country, not just a lake. The ruled vineyard rows on the hills are what tell you which valley this is.
- Turquoise water. The clearest, brightest blue in the Canada set, and it carries a whole wall on its own.
- A summer print. Beach, boats and dry grass — good in a room you want to feel warm year round.
- Holidays and second homes. The Okanagan is where a lot of western Canadian summers happen.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Sand and turquoise are a natural fit for a bright room with linen and light wood — the rattan and parquet scene above is close to ideal. It works on white, sand and oatmeal walls, and light oak frames pick up the beach. Good in a bedroom or a sunroom, and a natural partner to any other lake or coastal print in the series.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Above a console or desk, 12" x 18" or 16" x 24". Above a sofa, bed or mantel, go 24" x 36" or larger so the print holds the wall.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas ship unframed and fit standard frames. The framed canvas option arrives in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
Which lake is this? Okanagan Lake at Kelowna, British Columbia, looking along the city beach toward the downtown waterfront and marina.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
