A Whistler travel poster looking up the Village Stroll on a summer afternoon: timber and stone lodges closing in on both sides, walkers filling the paved street, tall firs breaking the roofline, and the ski runs cut in pale green down the face of the mountain straight ahead.
About the artwork
Warm and crowded where the rest of the Canada set is open. The composition funnels up the street to the mountain, and both edges are stacked with detail: balconies, dormers, stone piers, patio umbrellas, banners on the lampposts, and dozens of small figures walking away from you. The palette is sunlit — honey stone, dark green metal roofs, olive and sage conifers — against a pale blue sky, and the mountain behind is drawn in flat bands of forest green with the runs cut through them in a lighter tone. Title in white capitals across the peak, WHISTLER above CANADA. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- Whistler in summer. Almost every print of this place is a powder day; this one is the green season the locals prefer.
- The village, not just the mountain. The Stroll is what people actually remember — patios, banners, walking with your boots off.
- Warm greens. Honey and forest green make it one of the easiest prints here to place in a room with wood in it.
- Ski trip memory. A cabin, chalet or ski-house print that works in July as well as January.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
This is the obvious print for timber: the pine cabin scene above is exactly where it belongs, and it holds its own against knotty walls that would swallow a paler poster. In a city flat, hang it on warm white with an oak frame. Go large if you can — the small figures on the Stroll are the charm of it, and below 16" x 24" they turn into confetti.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Above a console or desk, 12" x 18" or 16" x 24". Above a sofa, bed or mantel, go 24" x 36" or larger so the print holds the wall.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas ship unframed and fit standard frames. The framed canvas option arrives in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
Is this the ski village? Yes — the pedestrian Village Stroll at Whistler, shown in summer, with the cleared ski runs visible on the mountain above.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
