A CN Tower Toronto poster seen the way the city announces itself from the islands: a wide, almost empty sky, the tower rising alone and needle-thin above a low band of downtown, and the cold open water of Lake Ontario stretching across the foreground.
About the artwork
Flat vector illustration held to a deliberately narrow palette — one clear cyan for the sky, steel and petrol blue for the towers, dark teal for the lake, with only a red ferry and a strip of warm sand-coloured buildings breaking it. Two thin bands of cirrus cross the sky. Most of the page is left empty above the skyline, which is what makes the tower read as tall; the downtown blocks are drawn small and dense along the waterline, and the water is cut into short horizontal strokes. Title in wide-tracked white capitals, TORONTO above CANADA. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- Quiet where most city prints are loud. Two thirds of the page is sky and water, so it calms a busy wall instead of adding to it.
- The tower gets to be tall. Drawn from far enough out that the antenna clears everything around it — the silhouette people actually picture.
- One family of blue. Cyan through petrol to dark teal, which is why it sits so easily beside white, grey and sage walls.
- A calm gift. Reads as architecture rather than souvenir, so it works for an office or a rental as much as a home.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
This is the coolest print in the Canada set and it likes cool company: white, pale grey, sage. The sage-wall and bamboo scene above is close to its natural home. A black frame sharpens the horizon line; oak softens it. Because the composition is mostly empty sky, it survives being hung high, above a headboard or a stairwell run, where a busier print would lose its subject.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Above a console or desk, 12" x 18" or 16" x 24". Above a sofa, bed or mantel, go 24" x 36" or larger so the print holds the wall.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas ship unframed and fit standard frames. The framed canvas option arrives in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
How is this different from the other Toronto print? This is the daytime view from far out on the lake, clear blue sky, tower standing alone above a low skyline. The other Toronto print is a golden-hour view from closer in, with warm cloud and the Harbourfront condo towers filling the shoreline.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
