This Cedar Breaks National Monument watercolor print shows the vast eroded amphitheater, looking down from Point Supreme on the rim. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the Utah monument, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Fine ink lines describe thousands of ridges and small spires in the bowl, washed in salmon orange, pink and cream with violet in the crevices. The amphitheater spreads across the center and right. On the left, a silvery twisted bristlecone pine stands by a wooden-railed overlook, and the Great Basin valleys fade to hazy blue in the distance. A dense meadow of purple lupine, red paintbrush and yellow wildflowers fills the foreground in bold dots of color. The bottom and left edges break into violet and pink splatter with drips, and the peak bloom marks midsummer. "CEDAR BREAKS" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Wildflower foreground. Saturated lupine, paintbrush and yellow blooms contrast with the soft-toned canyon behind them.
- Ancient bristlecone. A gnarled silver bristlecone pine trunk anchors the left side of the composition.
- Marmot on a rock. A marmot sits on a boulder near visitors at the rim fence.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".

- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Salmon pink, violet and forest green pair well with a bedroom, a sunroom or a living room with blush or sage accents. It is a lovely gift for a summer hiker or anyone who loves high-country wildflower season.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Cedar Breaks National Monument? No. It is an artistic interpretation of the Cedar Breaks amphitheater from Point Supreme, with the rock ridges and wildflowers painted loosely in a watercolor style.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "CEDAR BREAKS," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.

- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
