This Augusta, Georgia watercolor print shows St. Paul's Church and its tall white steeple beside the Augusta Riverwalk and the Savannah River. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the riverfront, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Fine ink lines pick out the stepped white steeple, the columned portico and the brickwork, and the river is a clear blue wash with short ripples of bare paper. The palette pairs river blue, brick red and leafy green with bright pink-violet azaleas and white dogwood blossoms. The church stands in the right half with a stone Celtic cross beside it, and the view runs downstream along the Riverwalk. Brick amphitheatre steps and the low brick buildings of Broad Street sit in the middle ground, and a brick promenade with an iron railing and lamp posts leads in from the foreground. It is mid spring, and the bottom edge melts into pink, blue and yellow washes with a few long drips. "AUGUSTA" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Azalea color. Pink-violet azaleas in the foreground make this one of the brightest spring scenes in the collection.
- Rowers on the river. A four-person scull glides along the Savannah River below the promenade.
- Historic church focus. The white steeple of St. Paul's rises almost to the city name, with the Celtic cross at its side.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.

Styling it at home
The blue and pink tones brighten a bedroom, sunroom or entryway with white, coral or soft green decor. It is a warm gift for a Georgia native, a keepsake of a spring wedding or a present for a family that loves the Riverwalk.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Augusta, Georgia? No. It is an artistic interpretation of St. Paul's Church and the Riverwalk; some elements, including a distant bridge in the background, are simplified or rearranged for the composition.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "AUGUSTA," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
