Retro Wall Art

What's in the collection

Prints built on saturated color and simple geometry, the visual language of mid-century advertising brought forward. Skies are one flat tone, shadows are a second, and type sits square across the composition. Contrast is high and the palette is deliberately loud, which is what separates this from the quieter vintage work. A cooler handling of the same idea sits in the mid century modern wall art, and the faded end of it in the vintage wall art.

One house style

High contrast means these hold a room on their own rather than blending in. One large print over a sofa does more than three small ones. If you group them, keep the spacing tight so the color blocks read as a single field rather than scattered spots. They also carry well in rooms with strong daylight, where softer palettes wash out. The subjects come from across the travel wall art range, the US national parks wall art most of all, and the wall art size guide lists what each format measures.

Sizes, paper and framing

Every design is offered on archival matte paper in nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames, and on matte canvas either stretched on a wooden bar or set in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. Printed with pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
