A Redwood National Park retro art print: massive rust-red redwood trunks lining a sunlit path through the forest, with ferns and red-orange shrubs below and cream clouds glimpsed through a gap in the canopy. Across the bottom, REDWOOD is set in spaced cream capitals, with NATIONAL PARK · CALIFORNIA · EST 1968 in small type beneath.
About the artwork
The trunks form vertical columns on both sides, framing a central gap that opens onto clouds and a distant cliff, with the path winding in at the bottom. Rust red and sage green make it feel warm and hushed. Coast redwoods, the tallest trees on earth, grow along this stretch of Northern California coast.
Why you'll love it
- Forest calm. Tall trunks and a soft path give it a peaceful, walk-in feel.
- Thirteen sizes. Small enough for a bookshelf, large enough to anchor a bedroom wall.
- Part of a matching set. Every retro park print shares the same painted texture and cream title lockup, so any mix of parks hangs together.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, color-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Try it in a bedroom or at the end of a hallway where the path seems to lead on. Rust and sage suit wood paneling and green velvet; an espresso frame suits the bark.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the color, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? 12" x 18" or 16" x 24" for a gallery wall or above a desk; 24" x 36" or larger above a sofa, mantel or bed.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
How is this different from your other Redwood prints? This is the painterly retro print: giant redwood trunks along a forest path, with the park name in spaced cream capitals. The vintage travel poster, WPA, screen print, mid-century, panoramic, oil, watercolor, illustrated and landmark Redwood prints are separate designs.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
