A moka pot print that opens the day in French. A mustard yellow stovetop pot stands beside a cobalt blue cup of coffee, both outlined in dark brown, inside a hand-drawn border, with Bonjour! above and Café? below.
About the artwork
Three flat colours do all the work: mustard, cobalt and the brown of the line. The pot is drawn slightly taller than life so it fills the middle of the sheet, and the cup sits low and close, the way it does on a counter. The border is drawn freehand with visible wobble, which stops the whole thing from looking printed. Portrait.
Why you'll love it
- The two objects everyone recognises. A moka pot and a full cup say coffee faster than any word does.
- Mustard and cobalt are unusual together. Warm and cool at once, which is why it lifts a plain kitchen instead of blending into it.
- Built as a set. Every design in the food and drink series shares the same cream ground and paper, so any combination lines up.
- A gift for a French-leaning kitchen. The greeting does the charm without the cliche.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it directly above the coffee machine or the kettle, where the mustard picks up brass handles and warm wood. It is one of the few prints in the series that holds its own against a strongly coloured wall, because the drawn border gives it an edge to stand on. In a narrow gap between wall cabinets the 12" x 18" is the right size; above a counter run, go to 18" x 24".
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Between cabinets or above a counter, 12" x 18" or 16" x 24". Above a dining table or sideboard, go 24" x 36" or larger so the print holds the wall.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
Can I hang more than one together? Yes. The food and drink prints share one palette and one paper, so two or three hang as a matched set.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
