This Walt Disney Concert Hall watercolor print shows the curving steel building in downtown Los Angeles with jacaranda trees in violet bloom along Grand Avenue. It is a watercolor-style interpretation of the building and street, not an exact view.
About the artwork
The stainless-steel sails are painted in clear silver-gray washes, with white paper left for reflected light and fine ink lines on the edges. The Broad's white honeycomb facade on the left is drawn as a fine grid. The hall fills the center, seen from the stepped Music Center plaza across First Street, with violet jacarandas running along Grand Avenue. Glass towers of Bunker Hill and downtown rise behind, and the plaza steps and railings form the foreground. Violet and blue washes drip from the left and bottom edges. "LOS ANGELES" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Sculptural curves. The folding steel sails look like canvas filled with wind.
- Jacaranda season. Violet blossoms line the avenue, with tall palms on the right.
- Silver and violet. Silver steel and sky blue are paired with soft jacaranda purple.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.

- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Silver and violet tones suit a modern living room, a music room or an office with black and gray furniture. Give it to a musician, a concertgoer or an architecture fan. Pair it with our Los Angeles watercolor print for a two-piece set.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Walt Disney Concert Hall? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Walt Disney Concert Hall and Grand Avenue, and some background towers are simplified.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "LOS ANGELES," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
