This Vizcaya Miami watercolor print shows the Vizcaya villa and its formal Italian-style gardens in Miami, framed by magenta bougainvillea. It is a watercolor-style interpretation of the estate, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Detailed brown ink describes carved balustrades, stone urns, statues and arches, while the bougainvillea is washed in deep magenta. The Italian Renaissance-style villa, with square towers, arched loggias and red tile roofs, sits at middle right, seen from a raised garden mound. Clipped hedges, fountains, statues and balustrades fill the geometric gardens in between. Coral-stone steps and a balustrade spilling with blooms form the foreground, and Biscayne Bay opens at the back left with a white yacht and a distant skyline. Bougainvillea in full bloom marks late spring. "MIAMI" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Bougainvillea in bloom. Deep magenta flowers spill over the carved stone balustrade in front.
- Italian garden geometry. Clipped hedges, cypress and fountains are laid out in neat patterns.
- Coral and terracotta. Cream-coral stone and red tile roofs warm the hedge greens and bay blue.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Its garden greens and magenta suit a dining room, a sunroom or a Mediterranean-style living room with terracotta and linen. It's an elegant gift for a couple who married or took photos at Vizcaya, or for a garden lover. Pair it with our Miami watercolor print for a two-piece set.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Vizcaya Miami? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Vizcaya, and the bay and the villa's towers are arranged to suit the composition.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "MIAMI," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
