This Verona watercolor print shows the striped Torre dei Lamberti rising above the old town, with the stone arches of Ponte Pietra crossing the Adige River. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Verona, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
The tower is built from red and white brick stripes with fine ink lines, the turquoise river carries vertical reflections of the houses, and autumn vine leaves bleed red-orange in the lower left. Terracotta and dusty pink roofs and walls sit beside turquoise water and dark cypress green, with red-orange vine leaves as the accent. The tower stands just right of center, flanked by a pointed brick tower on the left and a white bell tower on the right. Ponte Pietra spans the river in the middle left, the water bends toward the lower right corner, and an old stone wall with cypresses and vines fills the left foreground. Turning grape leaves place it in early fall. "VERONA" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Rowers on the Adige. Two racing boats with rowers glide down the river.
- Busy old bridge. Walkers and cyclists cross Ponte Pietra.
- Autumn vine accents. Red grape leaves climb the stone wall in the foreground.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Terracotta and turquoise suit a bedroom, a reading corner or a dining room with warm wood and cream walls. It is a natural gift for newlyweds or a couple celebrating a fall anniversary.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Verona? No. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Verona. Towers, river and bridge are arranged into one painterly view, with details loosened rather than drawn to scale.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "VERONA," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
