This Uluru Australia poster shows the great red sandstone monolith sitting low and wide on the horizon, its flanks cut by deep vertical channels. In front of it a broad plain of red earth runs toward the viewer, dotted with pale spinifex tussocks and dark weathered rocks in the foreground.
About the artwork
A flat vector travel-poster illustration with fine hatching used for the grasses and the fluted rock face. The palette is built on rust, terracotta and coral for the earth and the monolith, warm sage and straw for the grass clumps, and a sky that graduates from teal at the top down to pale gold at the horizon. Long shadows are drawn in deep maroon. The composition is horizontal and calm: a low skyline, a wide middle plain, and detailed scrub filling the foreground so the eye travels back to the rock. The typography is printed in white across the sky: ULURU in wide spaced capitals above a smaller AUSTRALIA. A white margin surrounds the image. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- A place treated with respect. Uluru is a sacred site for the Anangu, the Traditional Owners of this country, and the artwork simply shows it standing across the plain.
- Real desert colour. Rust and coral earth against teal sky is a pairing that reads instantly as central Australia.
- Foreground you can study. Individual spinifex clumps and scattered rocks are drawn blade by blade, so the bottom third holds up close.
- A quiet, horizontal composition. Nothing crowds the frame, which makes it restful above a bed or a long sideboard.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Rust and coral are demanding colours, so a warm off-white, limewash cream or soft clay wall suits this better than anything grey. Espresso and natural wood frames sit closest to the earth tones; a white frame lifts the teal sky and keeps it modern. It works over a low sideboard in a dining room or above a bed with rust or ochre linen, and pairs well with woven seagrass, unglazed pottery and a single dried branch rather than anything glossy.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? The wide, low composition rewards width, so 24" x 36" or 30" x 40" suits a main wall. For a study or hallway, 18" x 24" or A2 works.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas ship unframed. Framed canvas comes in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
What are the pale clumps in the foreground? They are spinifex grass tussocks, the low spiky bunches that cover much of the red centre, drawn here in straw and sage against the red earth.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
