This Tulsa watercolor print shows the Art Deco spire of Boston Avenue Methodist Church rising over a tree-lined avenue, with the downtown Tulsa skyline behind. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Tulsa, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
Transparent washes are layered over fine brown ink lines that trace the church's ribbed tower. The palette is built on limestone cream and leafy green, with copper-teal on the spire, teal and brick-red vintage cars and a pale blue sky. The church stands right of center, its spire reaching into the top third, while the avenue runs diagonally from the foreground toward downtown towers and distant green hills. Deep green trees place the scene in late summer. The edges dissolve into blue, yellow and violet washes with long drips and paint splatter around a white paper border. "TULSA" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Art Deco spire. The church's ribbed tower is outlined in fine ink and capped in copper-teal.
- Street-level life. Vintage cars, walkers on red brick sidewalks and a cyclist fill the avenue.
- Bannered lamp posts. Old-style street lamps with hanging banners line the tree-shaded boulevard.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The cream and green palette sits easily in a living room, home office or hallway with natural wood and soft neutrals. It makes a thoughtful gift for someone who grew up in Tulsa or just moved there.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Tulsa? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Tulsa, drawn in a watercolor style rather than copied from a single photo.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "TULSA," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
