Tokyo Tower wall art from the green side of the city — the orange lattice rising out of a low skyline, with park foliage arching over the top of the frame and a hedged path leading in from the bottom.
About the artwork
The tower is drawn in warm vermilion and white against a pale teal sky and takes the centre line of the composition. Around it Tokyo is rendered as a dense field of small pale blocks with a few glass towers picked out in mint. What sets the piece apart is the framing: dark green foliage at the top corners and a run of clipped box hedges and paving in the foreground, so the city is seen from inside a park rather than from the air.
Why you'll love it
- A softer, greener Tokyo than the usual neon night skyline.
- Vermilion against mint and teal — a colour pairing that reads well in daylight rooms.
- The park foreground gives the print a sense of place, not just a skyline strip.
- Works as a calm counterpart to the busier Shibuya print in the same series.
Where it works at home
Green tones make this an easy fit for rooms with plants, rattan or pale timber. It sits comfortably above a sofa or a sideboard, and the vertical crop suits the wall between two windows. Hung next to the Shibuya print it gives a two-print Tokyo pairing: one quiet and green, one loud and blue.
Sizes and materials
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Thirteen sizes are available, from 8 x 12 inches up to a 30 x 40 inch statement piece, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. Every piece is made to order.
Shipping and care
Each piece is printed and finished after the order is placed, then shipped in protective packaging — paper prints rolled in a rigid tube, canvas and framed canvas boxed with corner guards. Keep the artwork out of direct sunlight and wipe framed canvas with a dry, soft cloth. Paper prints are best handled by the edges until they are framed.
Questions
Which material should I choose? Paper is the most affordable option and lets you pick your own frame. Matte canvas adds depth and needs no glass. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang and is the usual choice for a feature wall.
Will the colours match what I see on screen? Printing is colour-managed, so the artwork stays very close to the preview. Paper reads slightly softer than canvas, which holds a touch more contrast.
Where is the view taken from? From the park side of the tower, looking across the Minato skyline — the angle you get walking up through the gardens rather than from an observation deck.
