This Telluride watercolor print looks down Colorado Avenue toward Bridal Veil Falls pouring from the head of the Telluride box canyon. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Telluride, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
Gray-violet washes shape the canyon walls, with fine vertical ink lines for cracks, and the waterfall is left as a long ribbon of white paper. Aspens are dabbed in bright gold among dark green pines, the street carries blue-violet shadows, and orange drips and pink blooms run from the lower left. The palette is aspen gold, canyon gray-violet and brick red, accented with deep pine green, white water and snowy peaks. The falls drop at the center top with snowy summits behind, seen from above along the wide main street, with the red-brick San Miguel County Courthouse and its domed tower on the left and Victorian brick storefronts lining the way. It is early fall, with the aspens at full color. "TELLURIDE" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Golden aspens. Bright yellow aspens line both sides of the street and climb the slopes.
- Box canyon backdrop. Steep canyon walls close off the street, with the white falls at the center.
- Small-town moments. A person on a bench with a brown dog, a jeep heading toward the canyon and a red-and-white awning add life.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Gold, gray-violet and brick red make it a natural fit for a fall-toned living room, a den or a cabin hallway. Give it to a festival-goer, a ski-season regular or a couple who honeymooned in southwest Colorado.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Telluride? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Telluride that frames the street, courthouse and falls in one view.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "TELLURIDE," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
