This Saint-Tropez watercolor print shows the old harbor with its pastel quayside houses, the bell tower of Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption and the Citadelle of Saint-Tropez on its wooded hill. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Saint-Tropez, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
The harbor water is built from deep turquoise layers with highlights left as white paper, and thin brown ink lines outline the houses and boats. The left edge breaks into pink, yellow and green splatter with several long drips, and the rocks along the right bank bleed into blue. Turquoise water, butter-yellow and coral facades and green hills form a brighter Mediterranean palette than usual, with pink oleander and a small French flag on the Citadelle as accents. The yellow-and-pink bell tower with its clock face and iron bell cage rises left of center, pastel houses curve across the middle ground, and a stone jetty with a lamp post fills the foreground. It is a warm summer day. "SAINT-TROPEZ" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Painters at work. Two artists sit at easels on the jetty, painting the harbor.
- Traditional pointu boats. Wooden fishing boats painted blue and white bob beside sailing yachts.
- Oleander in bloom. Pink oleander bushes brighten the shoreline.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The turquoise and coral tones suit a beach house, bathroom or bright living room with white walls and rattan. It is a fond honeymoon keepsake or a gift for someone who loves the French Riviera.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Saint-Tropez? No. It is an artistic interpretation of the Saint-Tropez waterfront, with the harbor, bell tower and Citadelle gathered into one sunny view.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "SAINT-TROPEZ," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
