This Riverside, California watercolor print shows the cream stucco Mission Inn with its bell wall and red-tile roofs, seen from the Main Street pedestrian mall. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the Mission Inn and Main Street, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Pale yellow glazes build the cream stucco walls, and fine brown ink traces the bell wall, bronze bells, iron balconies, tile roofs and a tiled fountain. Orange trees are wet dots of orange and white, and the fountain jets are left as white paper. The Mission Inn sits in the middle ground on the left with bells in arched niches and a domed tower, while the mall runs into the center lined with palms and streetlights. Mount Rubidoux rises behind under an early spring sky. The left edge and bottom dissolve into pink, orange and blue-violet blooms with drips and splatter. "RIVERSIDE" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Bells in arched niches. Bronze bells hang in the arched openings of the Mission Inn's bell wall.
- Orange trees in bloom. Orange trees carry both fruit and white blossoms beside a tiled fountain.
- Café table detail. Outdoor tables under orange umbrellas and strolling families fill the mall.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.

Styling it at home
The cream, terracotta and citrus tones fit a Spanish-style home, a sunny kitchen, a dining room or an entryway. Give it to someone with Inland Empire roots or a couple who spent a weekend in Riverside.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Riverside, California? No. It is an artistic interpretation of the Mission Inn and Main Street, with some architectural details simplified.

Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
