This Ocean City, Maryland watercolor print shows the Ocean City Boardwalk with the pier Ferris wheel on the right and the white Ocean City Life-Saving Station on the left. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Ocean City, Maryland, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
The Ferris wheel is drawn in fine red and white ink lines with gondolas dotted in many colors, and the ocean is layered blue with white paper foam. Beige sand is washed in lightly with fanned dune grass, and the left edge blends pink, yellow and blue with a long drip at the lower left and splatter around a white paper border. The wheel stands on the wooden pier right of center and rises into the upper third near a small coaster and carousel, while the red-roofed station with its lookout tower sits on the left. A long boardwalk of pastel buildings and lampposts runs diagonally, and dunes with wooden fencing fill the foreground in early summer. "OCEAN CITY" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Pier rides and color. A Ferris wheel, a small coaster and a carousel bring amusement-pier fun.
- Red-roofed station. The white Life-Saving Station with its red roof and lookout adds a historic note.
- Kites and bikes. Kids fly kites on the sand while riders cruise along the boardwalk.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.

Styling it at home
Aqua, sand and bright red accents suit a kid's room, a game room, a beach condo or a bright family room. It is a happy gift for someone who grew up on Ocean City summers or a family planning their next beach week.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Ocean City, Maryland? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Ocean City, and a few details are added or rearranged, such as a small striped lighthouse on the distant island.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "OCEAN CITY," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
