This Mostar watercolor print shows Stari Most, the Old Bridge, arching high over the emerald Neretva River, with the Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque and its slender minaret on the right. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Mostar and not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
Fine ink lines draw each limestone block of the bridge, its stone towers and the slate roofs. The Neretva is a clear emerald wash with white rapids left as bare paper. Ivory stone and emerald water lead the palette, with red pomegranates, red flowers and a red kayak as accents. The bridge arch sits at center between the Halebija and Tara towers, and bare limestone mountains rise behind. It is a bright midsummer scene, with a long orange-brown drip and red flower dots on the left edge. "MOSTAR" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Bridge diver. A diver stands on the bridge parapet, ready to jump.
- Red kayak. A two-person red kayak paddles the river below the arch.
- Grapevine café. A café terrace sits under a grapevine, beside a pomegranate tree heavy with fruit.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The emerald and ivory tones pair well with olive, rust or terracotta decor in a living room, dining room or reading nook. It makes a meaningful gift for someone with Bosnian heritage or a traveler who stood on the Old Bridge.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Mostar? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Mostar, with the bridge, mosque and riverbanks composed for the print rather than copied from one viewpoint.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "MOSTAR," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
