This Moab watercolor print shows Delicate Arch standing on the rim of a sandstone bowl in Arches National Park, with the snowy La Sal Mountains in the distance. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Moab, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
Layer after layer of orange and pink washes build the arch and slickrock, with fine ink lines tracing the curved bands in the stone. Rain pools are painted clear blue to reflect the sky, the far peaks are violet-blue with snow left as white paper, and orange drips and pink-violet blooms run from the lower left. The palette is red-orange and pink sandstone with olive juniper green, plus white snow and blue rainwater as accents. The arch stands right of center, seen from curving slickrock in front, with a deep canyon and the La Sal range behind, rounded boulders and fins on the left, and twisted junipers and shallow pools in the foreground. Snow still on the far peaks sets it in early spring. "MOAB" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Hikers for scale. A small group rests on the rock and one person stands beneath the arch, showing how big it is.
- Rain pools on stone. Shallow puddles on the slickrock mirror the blue sky.
- Ravens overhead. Black ravens drift above the canyon, a quiet desert detail.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Its warm orange, pink and sage tones glow in a living room, a bedroom with terracotta textiles or a hallway gallery wall. Give it to a national park collector, a canyon hiker or a couple celebrating a Utah road trip.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Moab? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Moab and Arches, composed to place the arch, the canyon and the mountains in a single frame.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "MOAB," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
