This Kelowna watercolor print shows terraced vineyards sloping down to the deep blue water of Okanagan Lake, with the low W.R. Bennett Bridge and the city waterfront beyond. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the British Columbia wine country, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Purple grape clusters are dotted in with layered violet and fine ink outlines, and the vine rows curve down the hill in green strokes. The lake is blue with streaks of white paper, and the dry hills are washed in pale gold. From a hillside vineyard on the West Kelowna side, a stone winery with a small bell tower and cypress trees sits on the hill at left, the rows fall toward the water, and the floating bridge and Kelowna's skyline sit at center right. Pickers in hats with white crates work the heavy vines in the foreground during the late summer harvest. Purple and blue splashes with a drip run off the lower left inside a white paper border. "KELOWNA" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Harvest-time grapes. Heavy purple clusters in the foreground make this a natural fit for wine lovers.
- Floating bridge view. The W.R. Bennett Bridge stretches across Okanagan Lake toward the city.
- Sage and violet palette. Sage-green vines and grape purple make a soft, uncommon color pairing.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Sage green, lake blue and grape purple suit a dining room, a kitchen with a wine rack or a sunny living room. Give it to someone who toured the Okanagan wineries, or as a housewarming gift for a new Kelowna homeowner.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Kelowna? No. It is an artistic watercolor interpretation of the vineyards and lake around Kelowna. The winery and skyline are simplified.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "KELOWNA," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
