This Franklin, Tennessee watercolor print shows the Williamson County Courthouse with its white-columned portico and a line of brick storefronts running down Main Street. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Franklin, Tennessee, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
Warm red brick is built up in several layers, while the white columns are left as bare paper and traced with fine ink lines. Leafy trees in green and gold soften the street, and the left edge melts into pink, yellow and blue washes with long drips and small splatters around a white paper border. The courthouse and its small domed tower stand on the left, and Main Street angles off to the right past Victorian shopfronts with iron balconies, two white church spires and green hills behind. Hanging pink flower baskets and a brick sidewalk set the scene in early summer. "FRANKLIN" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Small-town street life. A musician with a guitar sits on a bench while shoppers stroll past the storefronts.
- Vintage cars on Main. Old cars in red, cream and black roll down the street below the brick facades.
- Brick red and leaf green. The palette leans on warm brick and fresh greens, lifted by teal awnings and pink flower baskets.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.

Styling it at home
The warm brick and green tones sit well in a living room, a dining nook or a hallway with wood floors and cream walls. It makes a thoughtful housewarming gift for someone who just settled in Franklin or a keepsake for a weekend on Main Street.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Franklin, Tennessee? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Franklin, and some details are simplified, such as the hills behind town, which are drawn a little taller than they really are.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "FRANKLIN," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
