This Fayetteville, Arkansas watercolor print shows Old Main at the University of Arkansas, with its two towers of unequal height, across a sloping spring lawn. It is a watercolor-style interpretation of the Arkansas college town, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Clear layers build the flowering trees and lawn, and fine brown ink outlines the mansard roofs, iron cresting, arched windows and lampposts. Old Main sits on the middle left with its taller north tower and shorter south tower, a winding path and stone steps climb the lawn, and wooded Ozark hills roll away on the right. Red and pink tulips and flowering trees fill the foreground. Fresh green and blossom pink lead the palette, with brick red and blue-violet hills in the distance. Pink and blue drips and splatter loosen the left and bottom edges. "FAYETTEVILLE" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Two mismatched towers. Old Main's tall and short towers with iron cresting make an easy-to-recognize silhouette.
- Graduation moment. A new graduate in cap and gown poses for a photo on the lawn.
- Tulips and blossoms. Red and pink tulips and trees in bloom fill the foreground with spring color.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.

- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Soft pink, green and brick red suit a bedroom, a bright home office or a first apartment's living room. With a graduate posing in the scene, it makes an easy graduation gift for someone finishing at the University of Arkansas.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Fayetteville, Arkansas? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Old Main and its lawn, with the gardens and hills painted loosely rather than exactly.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "FAYETTEVILLE," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
