This Corpus Christi watercolor print shows the cable-stayed Harbor Bridge and the USS Lexington, seen from the Miradores del Mar shelters on the bayfront seawall. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the bay, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Turquoise and blue washes form the bay, and the white spray around the rock breakwater is untouched paper. Fine brown ink traces the bridge pylons and fans of cable, the gray aircraft carrier, white shelters and sailboats. The view looks north: the Harbor Bridge's two pale pylons stretch across the background, the USS Lexington is moored on the left, and the stepped seawall, curved white shelters and palms fill the foreground. A hazy bay horizon sits under a pale summer sky. The left edge and bottom break into blue, yellow and orange blooms with drips and splatter. "CORPUS CHRISTI" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Pelicans skimming low. Pelicans glide just above the water as sailboats and a small tour boat cross the bay.
- Seawall shelters. The curved white Miradores del Mar shelters and seawall steps anchor the foreground.
- Bay blue palette. Turquoise and blue lead, with steel gray, palm green and sandy beige accents.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.

Styling it at home
The blues and whites are right at home in a coastal living room, a beach house, a bathroom or a guest room. It makes a good gift for a Navy family, a Texas beach lover or anyone who grew up on the Coastal Bend.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Corpus Christi? No. It is an artistic interpretation of the bayfront, with the bridge and the ship painted loosely.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "CORPUS CHRISTI," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
