A Chiang Mai travel poster taken from high on a northern Thai ridge, where two royal pagodas hold the crest above a valley of folded green mountains. Terraced flower beds pour down the slope in bands of pink and scarlet, and range after range fades into blue haze.
About the artwork
Flat vector shapes carry the scene, with fine line work saved for the pagoda tiers and the clipped hedges of each flower bed. Colour runs from deep forest green and turquoise in the ridges to a hazy cornflower sky, then breaks into hot pink, crimson and marigold across the terraces. The near pagoda is pale lilac under a needle-thin spire; its copper-brown twin stands further along the crest. Lettering reads CHIANG MAI above THAILAND.
Why you'll love it
- Cool greens and blues hold most of the frame, so the pink beds read as one warm accent.
- The tall format follows the drop of the terraces and suits a narrow wall.
- Detail holds up close, from the hedge geometry to the paths threading the beds.
- A quiet piece for anyone who walked the highland gardens above the city.
Where it works at home
The haze-blue distance keeps this calm enough for a bedroom, and it settles above a low headboard where the pagodas land near eye level. In a living room, pick a wall that already carries plants so the foliage in the lower third has an echo. An oak frame warms the blues; black sharpens the ridges.
Sizes and materials
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Thirteen sizes are available, from 8 x 12 inches up to a 30 x 40 inch statement piece, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. Every piece is made to order.
Shipping and care
Each piece is printed and finished after the order is placed, then shipped in protective packaging — paper prints rolled in a rigid tube, canvas and framed canvas boxed with corner guards. Keep the artwork out of direct sunlight and wipe framed canvas with a dry, soft cloth. Paper prints are best handled by the edges until they are framed.
Questions
Which material should I choose? Paper is the most affordable option and lets you pick your own frame. Matte canvas adds depth and needs no glass. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang and is the usual choice for a feature wall.
Will the colours match what I see on screen? Printing is colour-managed, so the artwork stays very close to the preview. Paper reads slightly softer than canvas, which holds a touch more contrast.
What season is shown in the artwork? The flower terraces are in full colour under a clear sky, which is how the highland gardens look in the cool dry months rather than the wet season. The reds and pinks are planted beds, not autumn foliage.
