A vintage-style Antelope Canyon Arizona poster that looks straight up the slot canyon. Sunlit sandstone climbs the right-hand wall in long curved ribs, shadowed rock closes in from both sides, a narrow strip of desert sky shows overhead, and the light finally lands on a floor of pale cream sand and terracotta gravel at the bottom of the passage.
About the artwork
Drawn as flat, hard-edged vector shapes with banded striations doing all the shading, so the sandstone reads as stacked layers rather than photographic texture. The palette runs tangerine and apricot on the sunlit wall, deep maroon and plum brown in the flanking shadows, dusty mauve on the far rock, cream on the canyon floor, and one clean band of pale cerulean sky. The title is set across that sky in wide, letter-spaced white capitals reading ANTELOPE CANYON, with ARIZONA centred below it. A thin white margin frames the scene. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- Real desert colour — the orange, maroon and mauve are the actual tones of Navajo sandstone under midday light, not a generic sunset gradient.
- Depth without clutter — three overlapping walls and one bright floor give the print a strong sense of looking down a corridor.
- Vertical by design — the 2:3 portrait shape mirrors the canyon itself and suits narrow wall space beside a door or between windows.
- For people who walked it — a specific memory of Page, Arizona rather than a generic Southwest scene.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The warm orange and maroon sit well against terracotta, clay and warm white walls, and they lift a cooler room too. The sage green wall in the photographs above is a good example: the green pushes the sandstone tones forward instead of competing with them. Oak and walnut frames echo the sandstone; a black frame sharpens the contrast between the lit wall and the shadows.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Over a console or sideboard, 18" x 24" holds the wall on its own. Above a bed or sofa, go to 24" x 36" or larger so the canyon walls keep their scale.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed. Canvas is available stretched, or in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
What does the poster say? ANTELOPE CANYON across the top, with ARIZONA underneath. Nothing else is printed on the artwork.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
