A fruit wall art print in two flat colours: four apples inside a cobalt net bag, with a French market line above and below.
About the artwork
The mesh is the drawing. It is built from even cobalt strokes woven into squares, and the squares distort as they follow the teardrop shape of the bag, which is what gives the whole thing volume without any shading. The apples have no outline of their own — they are plain brick-red shapes sitting behind the mesh, so the net lines cut straight across them. Each has a curved stem and a single leaf. The drawstring is the one place black is used: tied at the neck and falling in two long cords with small rectangular toggles at the ends.
Why you'll love it
- Volume from a grid. The mesh distorts around the bag and does all the modelling.
- Fruit behind the net. The apples are unoutlined shapes, crossed by the mesh lines.
- One black detail. The drawstring and its two toggles, and nothing else.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Cobalt and brick red on cream is a market palette that suits a kitchen, a pantry or a dining wall, and the flat line work keeps it from competing with tile or wallpaper. It hangs well beside other blue-and-cream prints. White and natural frames both suit it.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does it say? LES POMMES in capitals above, and “Fruit Market” in script curving under the bag.
How many apples are in the bag? Four, each with a stem and a single leaf.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
