A Doberman toy pistol portrait poster in black and white: a high-detail photo of the dog's face holding a toy gun sideways in its mouth, on a clean white background with no lettering.
About the artwork
The head sits dead center and the dog looks straight at you, which gives the image its edge. The pistol crosses the muzzle on a diagonal, cutting the face into two halves. A studded collar wraps the neck, its metal spikes catching sharp highlights. The short coat has a glossy sheen, so every fold around the jaw and ears shows. With the lower area left open, the frame feels calmer and more like a studio portrait than an ad.
Why you'll love it
- A dog lover's statement piece. Tough and a little funny, it suits owners who like their pets with attitude.
- Clean enough for any room. Nothing but the photo and white space, so it never competes with other decor.
- Strong from a distance. The direct stare and dark coat read clearly across a living room.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it in a living room above a leather sofa or in a home office beside a dark bookshelf. A black frame echoes the coat and collar, while a white frame keeps the edges airy. Pair it with the jeweled-hand Doberman portrait for a matching pair of dog prints.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is there any text on this version? No. This minimal version has no lettering or logos, just the dog on white.
Is it a photograph? Yes, a detailed black and white photo, with the glossy coat and metal collar in sharp focus.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Nothing is printed until you order, so each piece is made for you.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
