Bathroom Wall Art

What's in the collection

A bathroom is the hardest room to hang art in and the easiest to get right. The wall space is small and interrupted by a mirror, a cistern or a rail, so anything large or detailed has nowhere to go. The light is bright and often cold, and the surfaces around it are hard: tile, glass, chrome. Everything here answers those conditions. Cool blues, greens and greys that agree with tile rather than fight it, one clear shape per print, and nothing so intricate that it disappears at small size. The same small-format thinking runs through our kitchen wall art and bedroom wall art.

One house style

Humidity is the practical constraint. A print behind glass can trap condensation against the paper in a room without an extractor fan, so canvas, which breathes and has no glazing to fog, is the safer choice over a bath or shower. Keep the piece out of the splash line beside a basin. Beyond that the room rewards restraint: one piece centred on the clear wall, or a stacked pair in a narrow gap, beats a crowded arrangement here. If you are planning several rooms at once, our gallery wall ideas page covers grouping, and the wall art size guide covers fit.

Sizes, paper and framing

Every design is offered on archival matte paper and on matte canvas, either stretched on a wooden bar or set in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. Size options are listed on each product page, including A-series sizes for European frames where the format allows. Printed with pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
