Wine Wall Art

What's in the collection

The toast is the running theme. Hands clink two glasses under a fat pink cin cin, faces in profile lean in over a wine club, a crowd of arms reaches in to say they will take another bottle. Around them sit wine and cheese night notices, dinner party tables drawn from above with candles and grapes, a bottle pouring a flood of red across the sheet, and green line patterns of bottles, glasses and tomato vines repeated to the edges. Cheese, olives and antipasti spreads carry on into the italian kitchen wall art prints, and shaken drinks into cocktail wall art.

One house style

Most of the collection is drawn rather than typeset: a single confident line in dark green, deep red or black on warm cream, with flat color dropped in only where it matters, the red of the wine itself. The louder pieces set two words in saturated type and let the glasses cut across them. Because everything shares the same cream ground, a quiet sketch and a shouting poster hang together. It reads as evening rather than morning, which makes it the natural partner to dining room wall art and a good counterweight to the brighter end of food and drink wall art.

Sizes, paper and framing

Every design is offered on archival matte paper in nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames, and on matte canvas either stretched on a wooden bar or set in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. Printed with pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.

Questions about wine wall art

Where does wine wall art hang best?

Above a sideboard or a dining table, and beside a wine rack or bar cart. It suits the rooms people sit in after dark.

Does wine wall art suit a kitchen as well as a dining room?

Yes. The line-drawn pieces are quiet enough for a kitchen wall, while the bold typographic ones do more work in a dining room.

What size wine wall art works above a sideboard?

A medium portrait size centred above the furniture, or two smaller ones side by side. The wall art size guide shows both arrangements to scale.

Can I hang wine wall art in a restaurant or wine bar?

Yes. Canvas in a larger size holds a commercial wall well, and the toast subjects fit the room.

How many wine wall art prints make a set?

Two side by side make an easy pair above a table. Six make a feature wall in a larger room.

Is wine wall art available on canvas?

Yes, on matte canvas as well as archival matte paper, stretched or in a solid wood floating frame.

Does wine wall art make a good gift?

It is one of the easier subjects to give. A cin cin toast reads as celebration without naming an occasion.

What colors are in the wine wall art prints?

Deep green and dark red line work on warm cream, with pink and cobalt appearing on the bolder typographic pieces.
