A Zion National Park classical oil painting, reproduced as a wide 3:2 print: towering red and cream sandstone walls glowing in low sun above a clear river running over rocks and gravel between green cottonwoods.
About the artwork
The painting follows the great nineteenth-century landscape tradition, with deep atmospheric perspective and warm evening light. Cliffs frame both sides and the river leads from the bottom center toward a distant peak. The canyon was carved by the North Fork of the Virgin River.
Why you'll love it
- Traditional warmth. Brick red and cream suit transitional and farmhouse rooms as naturally as a gallery.
- Gallery-scale sizes. Eleven horizontal sizes, from 12" x 8" up to 54" x 36" on paper.
- A painting, not a poster. There is no lettering on the canvas, so it hangs like a landscape from a gallery wall.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, color-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Eleven sizes in all, A4 to A1 included: 12" x 8" to 54" x 36".
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 18" x 12" to 48" x 32".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 18" x 12" to 48" x 32".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
It suits a study, a dining room or a living room with plaster walls and dark wood. Brick red, salmon and sage pair with leather and linen; an espresso or natural frame suits the classical style.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the color, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Which size works above a sofa? For a standard three-seat sofa, 36" x 24" or 48" x 32". The smaller sizes suit a console, a desk or a hallway.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
How is this different from your other Zion prints? This is the classical landscape painting: red and cream canyon walls above a clear river, reproduced without any lettering. The vintage travel poster, WPA, screen print, retro, mid-century, panoramic, impasto oil, watercolor, illustrated and landmark Zion prints are separate designs.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
