A Zell am See poster from the grassy bank at the water's edge: a curve of pebbled shore, still turquoise lake filling the middle of the sheet, the town low on the far side, and a long snow-covered range rising straight out of it.
About the artwork
The lake is the subject and it is given the room to prove it. Water runs from pale jade in the shallows to deep teal further out, drawn in flat horizontal bands with broken white and cream strokes where the sun catches, and the mountains repeat upside down in the surface as soft vertical smears. A grassy bank sweeps in from the bottom right corner, drawn as tall individual blades in warm and cool green, with a shingle margin of separate pale stones between grass and water and one dark boulder sitting just offshore. The far shore is a thin ribbon of chalets with brown roofs and a church with a slim dark spire, backed by wooded slopes. Above that the range is drawn in faceted grey-blue with heavy cream snowfields along the ridges and gullies. A leafy branch overhangs the top right corner. Title in wide-tracked uppercase with Austria beneath. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- Water first. Roughly half the sheet is lake, with reflections doing as much work as the peaks.
- Snow above green. Summer at the shore, winter still on the ridge, in the same picture.
- Turquoise and cream. A cool, clean palette that reads calm rather than busy.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Cool and quiet, which makes it a bedroom or bathroom print more than a hallway one. It sits well on white, pale grey and soft blue walls, beside pale oak, linen and a little black metal. White frames keep the snow crisp; natural oak brings out the grass in the foreground. Hang it with the Kitzbühel print for two sides of the same mountains, or with the Geneva print if you would rather group by lakes.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Above a console or desk, 12" x 18" or 16" x 24". Above a sofa, bed or mantel, go 24" x 36" or larger so the print holds the wall.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
Which way is the view facing? Across the lake from a low bank on the near shore, looking at the town and the snow-capped range behind it.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
