A Zakynthos travel poster looking down into the cove: the rusted hull of the shipwreck lying on a crescent of white sand, sheer limestone cliffs enclosing it on three sides, and water running from pale aquamarine at the beach to deep cobalt out beyond the headland.
About the artwork
Drawn from the clifftop, which is the only way this cove can be seen, and the near edge of the drawing is the scrub and broken rock you would actually be standing among. The cliffs are the technical centre: warm ochre and rose where the sun hits, cold blue-violet in shadow, with the strata drawn as horizontal ledges so the walls have real height. The water is graded through five values with the seabed showing as pale shapes in the shallows, and there is a fine white scribble of surf where it meets the sand. The wreck itself is small and rendered simply in rust and cream — the composition trusts it to be recognisable rather than making it large. Title in wide-tracked uppercase with Greece beneath. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- The most photographed cove in Greece, drawn instead of shot. Colour that a camera flattens.
- Ochre cliffs, aquamarine water. A warm-cold pairing at maximum contrast.
- The wreck gives scale. Without it the cliffs would read as half their height.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Bright and saturated, a summer print that holds a wall on its own. It sits on white, sand and pale clay and looks right beside linen, rattan and bleached wood. White and natural frames keep it fresh; black is heavy against the ochre. It is a natural partner for the Capri print, and it works in a bathroom as well as a living room.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Above a console or desk, 12" x 18" or 16" x 24". Above a sofa, bed or mantel, go 24" x 36" or larger so the print holds the wall.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
Where is the view from? From the clifftop viewpoint above the cove, looking straight down at the beach and the wreck.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
