A woman in a black suit crosswalk poster: a black and white street fashion photograph of a woman in an oversized blazer and sunglasses striding across a New York crosswalk.
About the artwork
The camera sits low, so she fills the center of the frame while tall gray towers rise behind her. The white stripes of the crosswalk run along the bottom edge and lead your eye straight to her. Her wide-leg trousers and loose blazer move as she walks, and a black handbag hangs at her side. On the right, steam rises from a street vent and drifts across the wet road. It feels like a still from a film more than a posed shoot.
Why you'll love it
- Confidence on the wall. A strong, self-assured figure for a dressing room or office.
- Fashion without color clashes. Black and gray tones fit any décor scheme.
- Pairs with other city prints. It links fashion and travel walls in one image.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it in a walk-in closet, a bedroom with a full-length mirror or a home office with a sleek desk. A black frame echoes the suit and gives a sharp editorial edge, while a white frame keeps it light. Pair it with the rainy city photograph of a woman with a clear umbrella for a pair of urban fashion scenes.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is there any text on it? No, it is a photograph with no words.
Is the woman a known person? No one is identified; she is simply a woman walking in a city street.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
