A twelve crushed cigarette butts poster: a high-contrast black and white photo of twelve stubbed-out cigarette ends arranged in two rows of six on white.
About the artwork
Two orderly rows run across the sheet, each holding six ends lined up side by side. Every one is bent or crushed differently, so the repeat never quite matches. The detail is sharp enough to show creased paper, loose ash and the dark burnt tips. A small logo is printed on several filters, but it stays a minor detail. The tidy grid against the messy objects gives the piece its dry, deadpan humor.
Why you'll love it
- A bold talking point. It gets a reaction and starts a conversation.
- Graphic from afar. The two rows read as a strong pattern across a room.
- Crisp black and white. High contrast suits modern, industrial and loft spaces.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it in a home bar, a lounge or a creative studio. A black frame sharpens the contrast, and an espresso frame warms it slightly. It pairs with the seven cigarette ends on gray for a two-piece still life set.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
How are the cigarettes arranged? In two neat rows of six, all on a white background.
Is it a real photo? Yes, it is a sharp black and white still life photograph.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Nothing is printed until you order, so each piece is made for you.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
