A Tucson Arizona travel poster built around a salmon-pink Spanish Colonial courthouse. Its tower carries a mosaic-tiled dome in blue, white and ochre, with an open arcaded belfry underneath and terracotta pantiles running along the roofline. Fan palms rise from the plaza in front, magenta bougainvillea spills over the wall, and a bare rock mountain stands close behind.
About the artwork
Flat vector illustration in warm, saturated blocks. Salmon and coral stucco carry the whole building; the dome is drawn tile by tile in turquoise, cream and burnt orange; roofs are terracotta; and the mountain behind is built from lilac, dusty rose and slate-blue facets that read as bare rock in strong afternoon light. Foreground planting is deliberately Sonoran — fan palms, a spiky yucca, prickly pear pads at the lower right and a heavy mass of magenta bougainvillea. The sky is a single flat teal-blue. Type at the top is thin white capitals reading TUCSON with ARIZONA letterspaced beneath. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- The tiled dome — the mosaic in turquoise and ochre is the single detail nobody confuses with another desert city.
- Pink, not sand — salmon stucco against a teal sky gives it far more colour than most southwest prints.
- Architecture over cactus — the Sonoran planting is there, but the subject is the building.
- Mountain right behind town — the bare rock ridge sits close enough to show how tightly the city meets the desert range.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Salmon, magenta and turquoise want a plain backdrop — white, cream or a soft clay wall rather than a patterned one. It is the strongest print in the set against the terracotta wall and walnut sideboard in the photographs above. Terracotta pots, woven jute and unglazed ceramics extend the palette; keep metal warm, brass or aged bronze, not chrome.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? The dome tiles are worth seeing, so 18" x 27" and up. At 24" x 36" over a console the individual tiles and palm fronds stay sharp.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas ship unframed. The framed canvas option arrives in a solid wood floating frame, wired and ready to hang.
What does the poster say? TUCSON across the top, with ARIZONA letterspaced beneath it. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
