A High Line NYC poster looking south down the elevated park on Manhattan's West Side. The old rail viaduct curves away between buildings: pale concrete plank paving on the left, a planted meadow of grasses and white wildflowers spilling over the path, a glass tower rising on one side and a red brick warehouse with arched windows on the other. Far ahead the walkway drops toward a glimpse of the Hudson.
About the artwork
Flat vector illustration with crisp geometric edges and long diagonal perspective lines. The colour is split cleanly down the middle: cool teal and steel blue in the glass curtain wall and shaded sky, warm brick red and terracotta on the right-hand facades, and a wide band of yellow-green and olive for the meadow planting, with cream paving pulling the eye through. Details to look for: the surviving steel rail line embedded in the deck, the arched brick window bays, the row of seed heads catching light at the front, and thin contrail streaks in the blue overhead. Typography is white sans-serif reading THE HIGH LINE with NEW YORK CITY below. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- Street level of an elevated park — the view is from the walkway itself, not from across the city.
- Glass against brick — the West Chelsea contrast between new towers and old warehouses is the whole composition.
- Green in a city print — the meadow planting makes this the softest Manhattan subject we draw.
- A walk people remember — for anyone who has done the stretch from Gansevoort Street north.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Teal, olive and brick is a busy but balanced set, so give it a plain wall. It looks best on white or pale grey, and the sage green room in the photographs above picks up the meadow greens without competing. A black frame sharpens the architectural lines; natural oak leans into the warm brick side. A good fit for a home office or an entryway, and it pairs with other New York prints without repeating a skyline.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? There is a lot of fine architectural detail, so 18" x 24" is the practical minimum. Over a desk or sofa, 24" x 36" lets the brickwork and planting read properly.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas ship unframed. The framed canvas option arrives in a solid wood floating frame, wired and ready to hang.
What does the poster say? The lettering reads THE HIGH LINE with NEW YORK CITY beneath it. The park runs above Manhattan's West Side, through West Chelsea.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
