A boho sun wall art print of a terracotta sun cut off by the left edge, its rays breaking into dashes as they spread across pale blush cream.
About the artwork
Only part of the sun is shown: a large terracotta disc cropped by the left side of the sheet, sitting just above the middle. Straight rays stream from it to the right, up and down, many of them split into two or three dashes of different lengths. The longer rays run off the top and bottom edges, while those pointing right stop short, leaving open space on that side. The sun has a soft watercolour mottle and the rays are flat terracotta lines. There is no text.
Why you'll love it
- Off-centre and modern. The cropped sun makes a relaxed, asymmetric layout.
- Made for pairing. Hang it opposite a sun that rises from the right edge.
- Warm and simple. One colour on cream, easy to place anywhere.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Because the sun sits at the left edge, it looks best on the left side of a pair or at the left end of a wall grouping, so the rays point inward. Try it above a bed with a mirrored sun print to its right, or over a desk. Pair with cane, terracotta and cream linen. Natural oak or white frames suit the soft palette.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is the sun complete? No — the left side is cropped by the edge of the print, by design.
Why are the rays broken? Many rays are drawn as dashed lines, which gives the print a light, rhythmic feel.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
