A boho abstract landscape wall art print of a terracotta crescent moon hanging over rolling hills in clay, sand and charcoal.
About the artwork
The moon sits in the upper left of a plain cream sky. The lower half of the sheet is built from about six layers of hills, each a flat colour with a light mottled texture and separated from the next by a thin cream outline. Most of the layers are warm brown, rust and sand, but one black ridge cuts diagonally through the middle, the darkest shape in the picture. The hills run off both side edges and the bottom, so the land feels wider than the frame. There is no text.
Why you'll love it
- A quiet night scene. Moon and hills without any literal detail.
- Earthy desert palette. Clay, sand and charcoal suit warm interiors.
- A strong focal ridge. The single black layer gives the eye somewhere to rest.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
This landscape suits a bedroom above the headboard, a living room with warm wood and leather, or a study. Pair it with woven baskets, a wool throw and clay pottery. Natural oak and espresso frames echo the browns; black sharpens the dark ridge. It pairs well with a matching sun-over-hills print for day and night.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is the moon a crescent? Yes — a slim terracotta crescent in the upper left of the sky.
Is there texture? The colours have a light printed mottle; the surface itself is smooth.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
