A mid century abstract wall art print with the colours flipped: pale cream shapes and lines laid over a deep terracotta ground.
About the artwork
Two cream half circles stack in the upper half, flat side up. The top one is tipped at an angle while the one below sits level, so the pair looks as though it might tumble. Under them six thin cream lines form a U shape opening upward, their tall parallel legs reaching almost as high as the lower bowl. The lines are fine and very slightly uneven. The rust-brown background has a gentle watercolour-like mottle across the whole sheet.
Why you'll love it
- Bold colour field. A full terracotta ground makes a strong statement.
- Light on dark. Cream shapes stand out clearly from across a room.
- A little playful. The tilted bowl adds movement to a simple layout.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Use it as the warm focal point on a white or pale grey wall, above a cream sofa or a light oak console. Pair it with linen, rattan and green plants. A natural or white frame keeps the contrast fresh; espresso makes it richer. It pairs well with the white line long leaf print on terracotta for a matching background.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What colour is the background? A deep terracotta or rust brown, with a soft mottled finish.
Is the top bowl meant to be tilted? Yes, the upper half circle is set at an angle on purpose.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
