A surf boards coconut palms poster in black and white: five surfboards at the bottom spell SURF and a star, under two tall coconut palms by the sea.
About the artwork
The two palm trunks curve and cross each other as they rise through the center, and their leafy crowns fill the top of the frame. The boards stand in a short row at the base, one letter on each and a star on the last. Behind them, a pale sea meets the horizon under a light gray sky. The layout stacks word, trees and sky from bottom to top, so the eye climbs the picture.
Why you'll love it
- A surfer's welcome. An easy pick for beach houses, surf fans and summer rooms.
- Word plus scene. The lettering is clear, but it still feels like a real photo.
- Neutral beach style. Gray tones fit modern and rustic coastal rooms alike.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it in a beach house entry, a teen bedroom or above a bench with a woven throw. Natural or white frames suit the soft gray sky, and black brings out the letters. It works with the ciao surfboards print as a pair of beach words.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does it spell? SURF, followed by a star, with one character on each of five boards.
Are the palms real? Yes, it is a black and white photograph of two coconut palms by the sea.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
