This Sundays croissants engraving print stacks three pastries in fine burgundy line work above a slow-weekend title and a short note about coffee.
About the artwork
The croissants are drawn in a single burgundy-plum ink with cross-hatched shading, in the style of an old engraving, with no color fill. They sit one above the other in the top two thirds of a pale blush-beige paper with a soft crinkled texture. A two-line serif and script title and a three-line serif paragraph sit beneath in black.
Why you'll love it
- Two straight, one curved. The top and bottom croissants lie flat and straight while the middle one curves, giving the stack rhythm.
- Classic engraving detail. Crosshatched lines build every flaky layer without a single fill.
- A weekend mood. The title turns a lazy Sunday breakfast into something worth framing.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it by the coffee maker or above a breakfast table, where the burgundy line ties in with wine-red mugs or linens. A brass or walnut frame plays up the vintage feel. It also suits a bakery counter, brunch café or guest room coffee nook.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does it say? "Sundays are made for Croissants", then: "Enjoyed with a steaming cup of coffee or on its own, a croissant has ability to make any moment a little more comforting ." The wording is printed as the artist wrote it.
Is there any color? Just one: the croissants are burgundy line on blush-beige paper, with black lettering.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
